Rumper

How to Play, Controls and Objective:
To play this game, use AD for movement, use SPACE to jump, use R to respawn at your last checkpoint. Your objective is to traverse the level by leaping over obstacles and reaching the final flag.

Creation:
This game was developed by myself as a personal project, and was my first time using Unity. I wanted to have a complete hands-on experience, so I created all of the art and animations myself too.

What I’ve Learned:
In the process of creating Rumper, I gained a comprehensive understanding of Unity, as well as learned how to code and implement movement and animations, designing user interfaces, and creating a checkpoint system. This project marked the beginning of my journey in coding and game development, and was a valuable learning experience.

Challenges:
One of the primary challenges I faced during the development of Rumper was becoming proficient in both Unity and the C# programming language, as I had no previous coding experience. Familiarizing myself with such a comprehensive software was a formidable task.
